The West in Focus: Indigenous People

The latest installment, The West in Focus, examines Indigenous perspectives through photography. Featuring Native Americans both behind and in front of the camera, captured using various photographic methods, from photogravure and digital pigment prints to three-dimensional photographic collages. The artists range from historic figures such as Ansel Adams and Edward S. Curtis to contemporary photographers including Zig Jackson, Zoë Marieh Urness, and Douglas Miles.
Cody S. Brothers: American Film
Until August 23, 2026
This exhibition showcases the work of New Mexico photographer Cody S. Brothers, known for his innovative use of film photography. Brothers’ collection includes seventeen large-scale black-and-white photographs, featuring panoramic Western landscapes, surreal double exposures, and dreamlike pinhole-camera visions.
Jeremy Lipking – 30 Years a Painter (1996–2026)
From April 11 to August 16, 2026
Coming soon, this major retrospective will honor one of the nation’s foremost realist artists, showcasing over 30 works from Jeremy Lipking’s notable career. The exhibition will emphasize the artist’s skillful use of light, landscape, and the human figure.

Arriving sooner than you expect, this unique exhibition highlights the evolution of wood-bodied and wood-paneled automobiles. Featuring vehicles from the Savoy Collection, the exhibit showcases the artistry and engineering behind these distinctive designs that helped define an era of automotive history.

Journey to Space

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to live and work in space? The Journey to Space exhibition in the new Tellus West Galleries offers visitors a look at life aboard the International Space Station through interactive exhibits, multimedia experiences, and large displays. Created by the Science Museum of Minnesota in partnership with NASA’s Johnson Space Center and other top organizations, this traveling exhibit explores the incredible challenges and rewards of human space travel.
