Southern Culinary Challenge
Overview
In true Georgia vs. Florida fashion, Barnsley Resort is bringing the best chefs from both sides of the state line together for an exciting weekend and one-of-a-kind culinary challenge at signature restaurant Jules. Hosted by Executive Chef Shaun Doty, the featured event will take place on Saturday, August 8, at 6 p.m., where chefs are slated to prepare a showstopping menu starting with hors d’oeuvres and ending with a four-course dinner . Sourdough Geek James Bridges is the reception host and emcee of the dinner’s culinary presentations, including gathering votes from the participating diners to see who comes out on top: Georgia or Florida. The event will also include a cookbook signing with acclaimed Chef Dean James Max and Sourdough Class & Lunch with James Bridges. Tickets are $220 per adult, and all guests must be 21+. The tickets include reception with passed hors d’oeuvres, four-course dinner & wine pairings.
